Ashlyn - Senior Session Downtown Boise + The Boise Foothills

Late summer in Boise offers a unique beauty, especially for senior photo sessions. I had the pleasure of photographing Ashlyn, a high school senior, in two iconic Boise locations: the beautiful downtown area and the scenic Boise Foothills.

Ashlyn’s session began in downtown Boise, and then we moved to the Boise Foothills nearby. The foothills, with their expansive views and rugged beauty, highlighted the late summer colors and created a serene setting for Ashlyn’s portraits. The smoky skies from wildfires elsewhere in Idaho added a soft, diffused light that gave the photos a unique, atmospheric quality. It was a smoky late summer season this year!

Ashlyn brought along her track shoes for a few shots, capturing her love for running and adding a personal touch to the session.
